20.08.2009 - Certified quality: Detailed analysis of STI according to DIN ISO 2001:2008

Clear objectives, efficient processes, transparent procedures, and measurable results - the successful re-certification of STI GmbH in accordance with DIN ISO 2001:2008 is proof of the company's consistent quality policy with focus on customers and processes.

The repeat audit performed by TÜV Austria Cert GmbH, Vienna, involved the Training, Consulting, Software Products, and Security Services Divisions. Their certification has now been renewed in accordance with the most current version of the standard, DIN ISO 2001:2008.

The audit found especially high levels of commitment and motivation among employees with regard to the continuous improvement process - these two factors are essential components of customer satisfaction in addition to product and service quality.

The ISO standard 9001 is the basis of STI's comprehensive quality management system, which pursues continuous optimization of processes and interfaces to guarantee the consistent quality of services and organizational procedures. This pertains to the responsibility of the executive team and the management of resources along with product implementation.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world's largest association of standardization bodies. Until September 2008, ISO developed and published over 17,400 standards for companies and administrations. ISO 9001, which details requirements for quality management, is among the best-known and most frequently applied standards worldwide.
