We are delighted to inform you that we now have a new NEOS Online course avialable.

The course "Mailroom Security" enables the effective training of staff who carry out security checks at mail rooms.

The interactive course implements the general awareness training needed to carry out this objective and a secure and efficient manner. The course meets the requirements laid-out in international regulations such as HB328-2009 Mailroom security (Australia), PAS97:2015 Mail screening and security (United Kingdom), 41 CFR Part 102-192 – Mail Management (USA), ISO 31000-2009 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines and BMI 2005 Protection of Critical Infrastructures – Baseline Protection Concept (Germany).

The course covers the following topics:

- Risk Assessment
- Facility Security
- Personnel
- Recognition of Dangerous Mail
- Mail Inspection Equipment
- Procedures
- Emergency Response

The objective of this training course is to increase the safety awareness among all employees who are responsible for the handling of post and parcels. The didactical concept of this course is specifically geared toward this specific target group.

A hint: Combine this theoretical course with the OTS online – Mail Screening 1.0 X-ray simulator to learn how to secure and efficiently detect IEDs (improvised explosive devices) in X-ray images typical for most Mailroom environments.
